Very nice grad speech. Full of wisdom delivered in a way that is very realistic.

I like this quote:

“Unannounced changes in life’s itinerary are like dancing lessons from God.” - Kurt Vonnegut.

Can’t wait for this!! Please don’t think that it is remotely similar with Twilight. It’s not.

Regarding your commentary on Jimmy Sieczka's video, I'm sorry but he's just saying the truth. A brutal truth. Come on, accept it and make a change! You're now suffering from Pinoy Pride Syndrome!

Hi ^_^ If you’ve read and understand my whole post then you’ll know that I do agree with him in most of his points and I even admit that he’s just being brutally honest and that it should be an eye opener for us (notice that I am just repeating what you and my post are both saying in different words).. My rants are not actually about the things he hated (coz I actually share the dislike on most of those things he mentioned) but on the way he made fun or made a fool of some people on his video.

Suffering from Pinoy Pride Syndrome? hmm.. I thought I was suffering from lack of it or ‘Pinoy Pride Deficiency’ maybe.. don’t wanna elaborate about this right now, I’m not yet ready to be shot. :)

The perfect Jimmy Sieczka from the perfect USA..

Staying 3.5 years in Cebu made him an expert in Filipino cultures and practices all over the country to be able to give an expert view of the Philippines.

Salute!

Sarcasm aside, this should be an eye opener for us Filipinos as there are some truths in his rants. Some may be enraged after watching the video, but if we’re gonna be honest with ourselves, we will find that we agree on some, if not most, of his points. We are aware of what he’s talking about, and for years, we had also observed what he had observed. It’s just that he presented it so brutally honest and degrading and so generalized that makes it so infuriating. I specially didn’t like how he made a fool out of some of the people in his videos just because they couldn’t understand what he was saying, or were not aware that he was actually dissing them while smiling at them from a short distance away.

While I may not completely disagree with him, his video still gave me ‘reasons why I’d like to punch him in the face’. Why don’t you pack up and go home a-hole! No one is forcing you to stay here.
